Cafรฉ Albania, located along the popular Ruta de Las Flores in El Salvador, is a coffee plantation featuring adventure attractions. The nontraditional park is especially known for its giant adult rainbow slide. Using a clear rating system, I share my honest review of visiting it, along with firsthand tips.

๐ Lukiih’s Verdict
I recommend visiting Cafรจ Albania if you’re already exploring El Salvador’s Ruta de Las Flores, but I wouldn’t do the route just for the park.
- The bicycle zipline and giant rainbow slide are two unique adventure attractions, and the latter is more thrilling than I initially expected.
- The experience is expensive, especially compared to other entertainment costs in El Salvador.
- Minimal preparation is required. You only need to account for the long transportation journey from the nearest city, Santa Ana.

โ๏ธ About My Trip
For context on my review, here’s what to know about my trip:
- I finance my trips and donโt receive sponsorship; this review reflects my honest opinions.
- I visited Cafรฉ Albania in late 2024, but this post has updated 2025 information.
- My El Salvador trip was from late November to early December when it was transitioning from the low, rainy season to the high, dry season.
- Cafรฉ Albania is not a traditional amusement park, making it a bit more unique. It’s a coffee plantation with adrenaline attractions, so visitors can enjoy the natural scenery and take coffee tours.
- Its most unique attractions are a giant rainbow slide, a bicycle zipline, and a somewhat challenging maze.
- However, it’s not a particularly unique place in many ways. The area features eight attractions, including a zipline, a giant swing, and a viewpoint. These are all common attractions that can be found throughout Central America.
- Other giant rainbow slides exist worldwide. Gigante Huila in Colombia and El Tobogรกn Arcoรญris in El Salvador are both larger.
- I found the giant rainbow slide to be much more fun and thrilling than I expected. The two slides are steep and the workers purposely push visitors down the slide backward or sideways, increasing the thrill.
- Even though I didn’t pay for many attractions, I spent a solid 90 minutes at the park because it was amusing just watching other visitors enjoy the eight attractions there, which included a surfboard zipline, a giant swing and a maze.
My El Salvador trip planner has more details about each attraction.
- Unless you’ve never done a zipline before, I would skip the zipline here. Other places in North and Central America have much more epic ziplines (my favorite one is in Monteverde in Costa Rica).
Cafรฉ Albania has a $10 entrance fee. You can use the $10 towards any attraction or at the restaurant. Once you enter the coffee plantation, each attraction costs between $1 and $13. If you pay for every attraction, the total cost will be $55.
For a hassle-free experience, you can also book a Ruta de Las Flores tour that includes a stop at Cafรฉ Albania.

- No significant skill or experience is necessary to visit Cafรฉ Albania. You do need to like adrenaline experiences for certain attractions.
- Cafรฉ Albania is located in Apaneca, which is located a little over an hour from the nearest city, Santa Ana. You can get there by bus (the budget option), Uber, or tour transportation.
- You can get entrance tickets at the door, and there’s nothing in particular that you need to pack. If you want to book a tour that includes a stop at Cafรฉ Albania, you should reserve that 1-2 days ahead.
